Hi,

Did a clean install with unibeast,Mavericks 10.9.2 and MultiBeast 6.2

Used the Patched CPUPowerManagement optioin along with basics like ALC889 with the F10 DSDT from tonymac. Had internet, sleep, just about everything working except sound when I worked around an earlier KP by dropping in another CPUPower kext I found online but on restart I was back to getting the power management errors. Since gone back to original MB6 version.

Do I need an SSDT for the 2600k. Are there pre-made versions like DSDT or working guide versions for 2600k on similar board?

Should I be using the Null Power Management setting with or instead of the patched CPUPower kext

Latest KP showing other IOPlatform issues as well.

thanks in advance for any help

You don't need to patch AppleIntelCPUPowermanagement.

Once you install OS X, you need to install a SSDT from MultiBeast. There is an option for i7-K Sandy Bridge CPUs, overclocked or non-overclocked.

You need one to boot OS X after you have installed or you will get kernel panics.
