Help Installation with HP Envy 17 3d,

i been trying to research no how to install 10.6 on the hp envy 17 and i cant seem to get anywhere,, if someone can please help i would really appreciated,

Were you successful with this? I just got a Envy 17 as well and will be attempting to install Snow Leopard when the retail installation cd arrives tomorrow.

Please share anything you have discovered, I would love to get this to work.

I tried to install Os X 10.9 on my HP Envy 17 3D, it works but with cpus=1 and external Monitor.
Is there any thing that some one can help with pleaz??

To boot without cpus=1, install the KernelPatcher module from Chameleon Wizard.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

CPU : Intel (R) de base (TM) i7 CPU 840 @ 1.87GHz Q (8 Processeurs), 1.9GHz ~ \ HM55
GPU : AMD Mobility Radeon HD série 5800, 1920 * 1080
Système: HP Envy 17t-1100 CTO 3D Édition portable (Clover)

I have no knowledge of Radeon-only systems.

the ATI Radeon worked my probleme is the CPU i can only boot with cpus=1

If using Chameleon/Chimera: Install KernelPatcher module from Chameleon.
If using Clover: set config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KernelLapic=true.
