its a great laptop for mackintosh minus the wifi. but I was able to put an airport card in the second mini pcie slot.. although if you remove the stock intel wifi card the machine won't get past post. very bizarre.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clvoer)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Thanks.

I attached my extracted dstd..

IS there a tool or command I can use in osx to see detailed mother board info?

sorry all I have is the spec from hp site

ITs running chameleon boot loader and sl. no added kexts. besides sleep enabler. I ran multi beast for SL

Im ok with no sleep as long as I get cpu speed stepping to work?? its just a laptop I'm sure at idle its power consumption will be marginal?

My original goal was working this into an old iMac g5 but Im having problems with the fitment. I found a dead 23" cinema display at thriftstore minus the power brick and bought an ebay lcd power brick to try and get it working so I'm just going to use that as the monitor..

I did get the cinema display to work all I need is this stupid laptop to sleep and figure out some sort of enclosure.. maybe i should just buy a brix or any freaking mini itx mobo with efi ?
