Hello everybody.

Just bought the TP-LINK TL-WN725N V2 WLAN USB Stick which should be working at 10.6.8.
I loaded the driver from the realtek website (8188CUS) for 10.6.8
But it doesn't seem to work.
One click at the Wireless Network Utlility - it appears a nanosecond and closes again.
In my Network Preferences I can´t choose WLAN.

Anybody an idea?

I have the same device (well for temporary) v2 device ID is PID8179 and its chip # RTL8188EUS so you are installing the wrong driver. I used this one here http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3539-tp-link-tl-wn723n-v3-tl-wn725n-v2-usb-wifi/
and its working fine on my 10.9

Do you still have a copy of TP-Link TL-WN723N-V3 / TL-WN725N-V2 (USB Wifi) 2.0.1 driver file?
Could you send a copy to me as I'm having trouble downloading it.
