Hi Guys, just to share with the community. I got OS X 10.6.8 running with the following system no kexts or dsdt file. Literally Out of the Box installation.

System Specs:

Intel D975XBX2 Board with E2180 proc @ 2.00 Ghz
8GB of RAM PC2-6400 -
500 GB HDD
PNY 8500GT Nvidia Graphics Card PciEx16 512Mb RAM
Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium PCI - Express

The only thing is It only recognizes the 4GB of ram im still booting up from iboot 3.2.0 . Is there a way to load a bootloader without any changes like graphics enabler and so on?

Thanks and if anyone wants a DSDT file or configuration settings let me know so u can guide me on how to create a DSDT file.

2/25/2012 - Update
SYSTEM WORKS PERFECTLY.

UPDATED CONFIGURATION:

OS: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3
GeForce GT 430 w/ 1GB of RAM
Re-installed OS X with SSD 500GB.

If you're always booting with iBoot only 4GB of Ram would be detected. That's because the configuration File on iBoot have maxmem=4096.
Try that -> http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/03/ ... -from.html but don't use a DSDT.aml in that case, because you're going to install Easybeast

Ok just got it to recognize the 8gb of ram. but i cannot get it to boot up by itself. Also i bought Lion X 10.7.2 and cant update to it. it says it has finished installing and after reboot, it still shows 10.6.8.

Anyone have any ideas why its not updating.

For some reason my system does not want to boot up from the USB. I have tried all USB Ports and still having an issue tried the USB on different pc and it picked up . I ll try to play around in the bios and see what might be causing this.

Update:

I finally got it to boot on my intel board:
I followed the directions word for word with unibeast and but i used an actually hdd connected via usb, since my computer didnt want to pick up the unibeast usb stick. I made a Unibeast USB HDD drive... lol.. anyway it is installing now lets see how far i get...

Update 2: -- Installation Successfull --
Now trying to figure out on how to get it to start on its own without unibeast.

Video and Network Card detected perfectly.

Installation and configuration a success!!!

Hardware:

Intel Board D975XBX2KR
Intel 2.0Ghz Core 2 Duo Processor
8GB of Ram

Nvidia 8500GT 512MB - Pci-Express x16
Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Pci-Express Card - using voodoohda kext 2.7.3

Operating System:

Mac OS X 10.7.3

--------------------

I am only having one small problem, It tells me that it is a 2.0Ghz Intel Core 2 Solo as the processor, how do i know if i am using both cores on the processor?

I will include a detail write up within a couple of days on how to install OS X 10.7.3 on this board.

Activity Monitor?

thank you. i guess its just a cosmetic thing. Both my cores show up... Thanks

how did you get the Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium PCI - Express to work ..... i would be interested to know... you just used the voodoohda kext 2.7.3 and does it allow for the optical outs to work. along with analog ports..... and are there any side effects with system performance.. ie sound popping, cracking.... system sleep, usb wake or random kp's anything like that....
