Are you attempting to install with the GPU connected? If so, you need nv_disable=1 boot-arg to kill the nVidia since the card is not supported in OS X - it requires web drivers to operate.

Thanks for your reply.

I have my monitor plugged into the 980ti.

I used the following args and got to here.

-x -v cpus=1 nv_disable=1 PCIRootUID=1

Try with using the onboard CPU gfx and remove the unsupported GPU. You are having same problem I had with EVGA GTX980 - disable flag does not work.

Then boot with -v and see if it hangs anywhere. Have you disabled VT-d in UEFI?

Good news and bad news.

So, (jubilation)

I followed the guide and formatted the discs.
The installer ran and for some time, but then finished with a black screen and the pc loaded to the bios.

Next I booted from the iboot haswell disc and got here.

selecting the untitled 1 (keyboard wouldn't work during installation) and running with -v.
I hang on this screen..... so close so darn close.....

Looking forward to your reply. I am starting to loose my hair over this :p

boot the untiled with -v -f -x and post results.

Might also try with -v -f npci=0x2000

Please follow the rules and put your hardware in your profile.

untitled with -v -f -x

The KP is showing it does not like your CPU - the interrupts are nor responding to OS X callers.

Try with -v -x npci=0x2000 cpus=1
