i have tried many times to install snow leopard from the retail dvd using iboot but all i get when i choose the mac osx install dvd from iboot menu is a grey prohibited symbol.
anyone else got snow leopard on a dell studio xps 8100
bios set to RAID (there is no AHCI mode )
intel i7-860
dell DH57MO1 motherboard (standard in pc)
8Gb DDR3 ram (also tried using only 4Gb )
nvidia gforce GTS 240
other post i have read have people that have done this but get stuck later down the line
