Hello everyone, this is my first time trying Hackintosh and i'm having some issues. First my build is:

Motherboard: Asus P8Z77V-LE
CPU: Intel i7 3770k 3,5gHz Ivy Bridge
GPU: nVidia Geforce GTX 650 ti
Ram: 16GB 4X4GB Corsair Vengenace CL9 DDR3 1600 mHz
PowerSupply: Corsair GS700
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Wi-fi: TP-Link TL-WDN4800
im using an external DVD writer to insert iBoot and the SL retail disc

So i've done some research for UEFI settings and i think i have my BIOS ok. I insert the iBoot (i'm not using iBoot Ivy Bridge because as i far as i know i cant run SL DVD with iBoot Ivy Bridge, i've tried but i get a kernel panic) after the iBoot is loaded i gain access to the chimera and swap for SL DVD i run it and my PC stucks at apple logo. I dont think i'm able to solve this without your help so please help me!!

Remove unsupported GPU and set BIOS to use internal GPU of CPU igfx.
Connect to HDMI or DVI port on mainboard.
Use iBoot Ivy Bridge because you have Ivy Bridge hardware.
Use NullCPUPM kext to prevent KP or patch your BIOS - CPU MSR is locked in Asus Z77 BIOS preventing OS X from writing to it. This causes KP with back trace to AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext.

first thanks for your reply. At the moment im trying another method, im trying to create a bootable USB running yosemite with VMware, if i fail with that i will do what you said. One thing what do you mean by unsupported GPU? i can't get MAC OS running with this graphics card?

Thanks Again!!

one more thing and im really sorry if im going to sound like a noob, but thats what i still am in this hackintosh world :p! how do i use kext with iboot? i burn the kext files in the iboot cd's? sorry once again thanks for the reply :)

Ive remove my GPU and connect my pc to my tv with HDMI, im using iboot ivy bridge but i can't follow the last step the "NullCPUPM" kext or BIOS - CPU MSR..

ive removed GPU set BIOS to iGPU connect with HDMI, and now i went to asus website and patched my bios with the newest version the 1104 and im still getting a KP need some help man don't know what i'm doing wrong...

Thanks again for your time

this is what appears in my screen in the KP:

OK, from the top:
FYI - the Asus BIOS has locked the CPU MSR register and prevents OS X power management driver from writing to it. This will cause OS X to KP. You have some choices on how you want to handle this.
1. you can install NullCPUPM kext with MultiBeast after you get to desktop. Downside to this is sleep and speedstepping will not work
2. you can patch the BIOS - some people are very nervous about this as it can brick the board if not done properly and if your Asus board does not have the USB flash capability you can't do this because Asus firmware detects that it is patched and refuses to install it.
3. Use Clover as your boot loader. Advantages are no worries about locked MSR and you can probably get iMessage and other thins working that just will not work with Chimera/Chameleon at this time.

Procedure for install on your board:
boot with iBoot Ivy Bridge using the gfx in the CPU because the GPU is not supported in Snow Leopard.
Swap iBoot with the SL 10.6.3 DVD.
Wait until the disk spins up and spins down and the ODD drive light goes out.
Hit F5 to refresh, click on the SL DVD icon and hit spacebar. Type -v and hit enter
report results if it does not load and install.

So i cant get to desktop so the first option can't do. I've patched the BIOS to the newest one and i still get a KP. I prepared a USB for Clover using Diskutility in windows and boot from there, i dont have access to another mac so i've done it on windows. I hear the ODD working and the system seems to read the disc but than it freezes. Im sending you a photo of the frozen screen.

In Windows, download the iBoot Ivy Bridge iso.
Burn it to a CD (restore the image to the CD)
Shutdown.
Disconnect Windows drive.
Boot the ODD with the iBoot IB CD
Follow the guide to install SL 10.6.3

If you follow directions you will have success.
