So I'm in a sticky situation. I ran the installation process through multibeast via easybeast, then I ejected iBoot and tried to boot the computer from my SSD instead of the CD. When I do that, I just get a gray screen with the apple logo, no loading bar or spinning wheel. When I try to boot from iBoot, I get an error telling me I must restart the computer. So I am very stuck right now.

Thanks!

I'm fairly sure I read a post on these forums that advised not installing Multibeast on Snow Leopard, and just to install SL then upgrade to Yosemite.

I may be wrong, but I'm fairly sure that was the advise given. I am expecting my SL disc to be delivered in the next few days, so I look forward to finding out for myself.

Hardware is :

Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD7 TH ATX LGA1150
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" SSD
EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Superclocked ACX
Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB (2 8GB) DDR3-1600

I also have a 1TB WD but its not plugged in because I want to try and boot from SSD.

Need hardware, its vital to diagnosis.

I just added the Hardware. Also I'm adding these pictures to show what happens.

So when I boot from my SSD regularly, just white screen with apple logo.

This is when I try to boot from iBoot then select my SSD:

The last thing that could potentially be useful. When I used multibeast, all I selected was easybeast, system utilities, and then the drivers for graphics, sound, etc. But after the install of easybeast, only one of the install screens came up for the drivers before it made me restart. then boom, the problems started.

SL will never work correctly on your hardware, it will always require iboot to launch.

Only reason for SL on your hardware is to get to 10.6.8 and access to MAS to download compatible OS. Then create Unibeast USB to install the OS.

Don't waste time with multibeast on SL on your hardware.

So then what do you suggest? Do I just say screw that whole step and go right to trying to make a bootable version of unibeast?

The one thing that is confusing me from what you said is "it will always require iboot to launch" but I cant even get it to boot with iBoot, as shown in the pictures. But yeah, if you think I should go straight to unibeast I can try that.

You got it to boot with boot before you ran multibeast? So re install and don't run mutibeast.

But if you already have access to a mac/hack and can create a unibeast usb with yosemite, then yeah just do that instead of messing with SL. SL install is usually recommended for people who don't currently have access to MAS.
