32bit PC, Can i install hackintosh with these specifications?? can u please guide me to download the dsdt, it seems that my motherboard is not listed anywhere... how do i burn the os to dual layer dvd and bootable usb drive using windows??:beachball::crazy:

how to i set up the bios of my mother board... ther's no setting please help! asus p8h61-mlx r2.0
In BIOS hit F7 to get advanced mode. At Main menu hit F5 for optimized defaults.
Leave AITweaker alone for right now - only used for overclocking.
Under Advanced tab set
PCH congifuration-> High precision timer = should be default set enabled

SATA configuration = set to AHCI mode

System Agent configuration:
Primary display = PEG

USB configuration:
EHCI Handoff = Enabled

Serial port configuration - Disable if you have no need for it
Parallel port config - same as serial port

Boot Menu tab
I usually turn off the full screen logo so I can see the boot POST process.
set your boot priority options
set your os x drive first in list under Hard Drive BBS Priorities

Save&Exit

Thanks for the boot menu support it worked! But after i press f5 after the iboot loads and i put my sl dvd the sl down't show up! it shows 2 harddisks like icons... i even tried typing PCIRootUID=1 before hitting enter and it asks for iboot disk again.. How do i get sl to show up...:shifty:
I got one more question if u dont mind.. is my 32bit pc compatible for yosemite??

Disconnect all drives but the one on which you are installing SL.
Boot with iBoot.
At the Chimera screen, eject iBoot and replace with SL DVD
Wait for drive to spin up and spin down and the drive light to go out
Hit F5 to refresh.
You should see only the SL DVD icon
Hit enter

32bit?? What is 32 bit? Your system is capable of running 64 bit.

This hard drive has Windows on it? Do you have a Windows install DVD? Do you want to keep your Windows working? Have you backed up all of your documents, pictures, videos, etc.? Do you have any 3rd party software loaded in Windows? Do you have install media for all 3rd party software?

In order to install OS X and Windows on the same HDD, you must first Format the drive, which will wipe out your Windows and all data on the drive.

I strongly suggest you get another drive on which to install OS X. Do not use your Windows drive.

i've already backed up everything to my external hardisk, i dont want windows anymore. i have the windows install dvd... i actually patched my windows with "patch pae" to use full 8gb ram because only 3.2 gb was usable before patch, coz windows 32bit os supports only 4gb ram... should i unpatch it and format???

Windows is 32 bit and has nothing to do with OS X. If you are blowing away the Windows, just follow the guide I linked in the 2nd post. Format your hard drive and set you BIOS as I showed you and install SL.
With your board and CPu you will need to make sure you select EasyBeast when you run MultiBeast after you install SL.
