I've successfully installed Snow Leopard along with the 10.6.8 combo update. Before rebooting, I followed the directions on here to the very end. I even ran multibeast 3.10.1 for SL before restarting. The last instruction says that if it still does not boot from disk after restarting, then visit this page. However, that page is 404 (not found). So as of right now, I am still using iboot to start get into snow leopard.

Other things besides the bootloader were not properly installed either such as the graphics driver. It's still displaying at 1024 x 768. I've checked the stickies on this board, read the rules, googled for past day and still can't figure it out. At this point, I've completely run out of ideas. Any suggestions?

OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard will never boot from HDD on that hardware. Update to Mavericks.

Your hardware was not designed for OSX SL.

SO what you will do is to boot every time you need to boot from the iBoot Haswell Cd and select the HDD to continue boot up.

Also MultiBeast does not run on this hardware so we don't use it.

Principally we install SL update to 10.6.8 install Software update 1.0 for SL - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1512

login to apple store download mavericks make usb drive (2.0) w UniBeast then install Mavercks onto HDD.

Thank you both for your response. I've been trying to upgrade to Mavericks but not having any luck. I know this is the SL section so I'll post my question over there. Thanks again!

If you are attempting to install SL so you can download Mavericks, then this is the right place.

Use iBoot Haswell for booting and the internal CPU gfx until you get Mavericks installed and running.

I've already installed SL with all updates and downloaded Mavericks with unibeast. Now, I'm just trying to update to Mavericks but I'm having problems getting it to install.

In that case Mavericks desktop support is the place to post.

If your using the Apple Auto Update process... for this purpose. I suggest you dont use it for any of the System updates that require a reboot.
Updates for other items like iTUNES - Safari - java etc are ok.

I had to update just so that I could get the my ethernet to work in order for me to download mavericks and unibeast.

ok so if you have SL installed and updated to 10.6.8 and still booting from the iBOOT cd ...

You get to the desktop downloaded the Mavericks OSX file... and UniBeast and MultiBeast.

But UniBeast and multiBeast on a USB drive.

Then you need to make sure you have installed this service update from Apple
http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1512
this is not going to be listed by the Apple Update service. and u must do this yourself.

once done see if you can make the Mavericks Install USB with UNIBeast. Size 8 GB. Use A known brand of USB drive.

If you still have issues you need to post the question on the UNIBEAST Forums. Also the install log.

And remember we do not use MultiBeast on Snow Leo. At All..
