Stuck on combo update and multibeast

Am working through steps for 10.6.8 combo update and multibeast install. Once the combo update install completes and without restarting I am running multibeast 5.5.5. The guide doesn't quite track what I am seeing for example there is no system utilities checkbox. I've tried multiple ways using the easybeast as the only selected item. The installation fails.

I am sure I am missing something. I attempted to search the forums for installs on the same motherboard but found most everyone was installing 10.9. I do not have access to a Mac so the snow leopard install disk is my starting point.

Forget about MultiBeast for Snow Leopard on Haswell hardware - there is no support for Haswell in the SL Kernel. Just run the update to 10.6.8 to get the Mac App Store icon, go to the MAS and download Mavericks and follow http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html to install Mavericks.

Its always nice to know what the hardware is that you users are using so if you would please update your user profile to include your current hardware .... this is one of the most important aspects that we need to have.
