Thanks for the great community support and especially TonyMac!

Next Step ... LION!

UPDATE!

I've just updated my system to LION with xMove and by following TonyMac's steps it worked perfectly ... well hopefully since it's only been a day. The only problem (so far) is that I needed to re-install the DSDT again with Multibeast so sound would work.

Very Cool! ... thanks TonyMac

daj mi molim te reci što sve na kraju radi, a što ne
meni najbitnije:
-audio, što uklju?uje ulaz za mikrofon, izlaz za slušalice
-sleep i wake up(ne baš važno al dobro...)
-display port,dvi,hdmi,d-sub
-network

igra li ikakvu ulogu dual boot?

dear raketa
if you dont speak croatian,serbian or something like that :D (i think you speak because of your name) post it.thanks :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I do not speak croatian but I will try to respond with the help of Google Translate.

Audio: The speakers work fine but I have not tested with a microphone or headphones
Sleep: Sleep and wake up works. I have not had any problems.
Display: I have two DVI displays and they work. I only had one crash.
Network: I only connect to the Internet with this system but in connects to my backup networked drive. As far as I can tell it works.

I dual boot between Windows 7 and Mac OS and it works.

Hvala vam što ste za pisanje ... mina ime je prva dva slova mog prvog, srednjeg i prezime. Znate li što to zna?i na hrvatskom?

Hopefully the above translates.

Hey I appreciate the time you took out to get this done and even write the steps out for us. I'm going to give this a try in a few. I've wanted to Dual Boot Snow Leopard & Windows 7 for quite some time. My old rig was giving me too much problems so I recently built a new one from the ground up and was disappointed when I didn't see too much info if my motherboard would work correctly.

Hopefully I can get a good install. I will check back in later on!

Hey, raketa! Many thanks for the guide for the DP67DE mobo. I had tried several times a while back to install Snow Leopard on this mobo, but with little success. Then I stumbled across this thread. At any rate, I now have installed 10.6.3, updated to 10.6.8, then upgraded to Lion. The only problem I have with Lion is that audio doesn't work. I've tried running UserDSDT and reinstalling the Realtek drivers, but no go. (Apparently the problem was caused by incompatible drivers for an FireWire audio interface which was plugged in; it did the same thing on my MPB. Uninstalling the drivers fixed it.) BTW, could you link me up with the DSDT you used? The only other thing is that Chimera won't boot by itself, I have to hit F10 each time I boot and select my HD. Seems like the boot flags are messed up, but I can't figure it out. Did you run into this issue at all?

Again, thanks for the info!

I had to also press F10 until I updated the BIOS since one of the fixes addressed a problem with enabling UEFI. Once I applied the 5/26/2011 BIOS update from Intel and enabled UEFI it booted directly into Chimera. I now have the option to go to either LION or Windows 7.

I downloaded the attached from InsanelyMac at it worked for me. I'm continuing to look for a more current one since the date of the file is 5/22/11 and my BIOS update is 5/26/11. I'm not sure if it would make any difference since everything seems to work fine.

It's always appreciated if anyone has any suggestions.

BTW my Geekbench is 10,300 :D

Thanks
