Super Easy Install, Great little board for OSX86.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c00783647

HP Pavilion media center slimline s7710.fr and other HP slimlines use this board.

Core2Duo, ITX, Intel 945 chipset, gma950
You can get them on ebay, but do some research first to find parts that match.

Running 10.6.7 in under 3 hours.

Just follow the instructions below using the EasyBeast method, and in MultiBeast add the Realtek audio drivers and a kext tool from applications.

http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ ... -x-on.html

and you can use the attached file to get the network working using one of the kext tools when you are finished the above install process. Use a USB key for the 10.6.7 update and MultiBeast.

Thanks TonyMacx86!

So,

Just an update, the audio reports intel high definition audio in system profiler, but does not seem to work.

Also sleep and wake don't work. :(

Also I added a geforce GT 220 video card and it works great, with monitor detection, resolution change and everything working. No kexts, drivers or any other changes were needed to get it working.

New update: Audio WorkingAudio Crashing Stuff

Device is ALC883s I think.

!!!! applehda.kext causes kernel panics. !!!!

Use VoodooHDA 0.2.61 from Drivers&Bootloaders on Multibeast.

You might get a kernel panic, if so at chameleon press a key and use -x startup option.
Go to /System/Library/Extensions and delete applehda.kext
Then in terminal run:

sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions

and reboot.

No audio shows up in system profiler, but line out works and is controlled by VoodooHDA in System Preferences.

Audio Problems Again

So, based on a tip from Lnx2Mac I found out my audio (VoodooHDA.kext) VoodooHDA 0.2.61 from Drivers&Bootloaders on Multibeast is crashing some software, no problem I remove it and go back to USB audio.

USB Audio is now cracking don't know why. It may be the removal of AppleHDA.kext or the remains of VoodooHDA. I look up Audio quality on the Google and find this:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?t=11331&p=94631

So I remove the USB audio dongle and install the attached file which contains a version of appleazaliaaudio.kext.

Audio working and software crashes fixed.

I think I'm done.

Hey there, I have a Calcite board and I'm having a little trouble getting iBoot to work. I've tried iBoot and iBoot Legacy version and both times get kernel panic when I try to boot the Snow Leopard disc. I've tried "-x" and it doesn't seem to help. And ideas? Thanks.

Hi Tomcraig,

So sorry this took so long, I only noticed your question yesterday.

My BIOS version is 3.07, what is yours?

How does your system run in windows? What version of windows?

Things I did (possibly different from you)

1) External USB DVD drive for booting.
2) SATA HDD using AHCI
3) Try the onboard graphics first.
4) Core2Duo (64bit) processor. I know this sucks and is not likely the problem, but it is a difference between our systems.

Also try disabling non core components in BIOS to start. Turn off sound, LAN, PATA, and possibly firewire/1394. I don't remember which ones you can actually turn off in bios.

Hope this helps,

Cyborg

Hi :)

does your computer wakes from sleep ?
I have the same Moca-ar motherboard. Mine sleeps and wakes up, but the screen keeps sleeping after the computer wakes (I use an NVIDIA 8400GS graphic card and a T7200 core2duo in full 64 bits with lion).
I have tried all 64 bits graphic kexts, and now I use graphic injection with chameleon. None works.
Even with arch=i386 mode the monitor doesn't wake.
I still haven't found any solution.
Thank you for advance

hello there,

I have got the same board and have been able to install snow leopard, however, I was not able to get the network to work. I had previously flashed to bios 5.12 and can't find 3.07 anymore. do you know where to find it?

thanks in advance, :beachball:
