We just got in the Nvidia GTX 780 in today and it worked on the first boot using GraphicsEnabler=No and the kernel flag set to nvda_drv=1. We are on a fresh system with 10.8.3 running the latest driver from Nvidia 313.01.01f03. We haven't tested it yet with the default 10.8.3 driver in osx but we were doubting that it would work anyway.

Luxmark crashes so that doesn't work yet. Chess runs. Here is a couple other benchmarks to look at.

Yep rebooted onto the default osx driver and it couldn't get past the grey apple screen. Looks like it only works with the new Nvidia driver right now.

to work with OS X default driver i think you need to use 0x2000/3000 flag
or maybe dart=o

I think final OS X based drivers for 780 will be available in 10.8.4 update.

Does anyone know what you'd be getting by switching from the 680?

Huh?
I meant between the 780 this thread is talking about and the 680.

780 vs 680

Edit:
I see your YouTube link is correct. Was confused by your post though.
Thanks.

The difference between a 680 and a 670 is not that big, IMO it's not worth getting the 670 if you have a 680, too much money xD

Here's a little comparison
