How long should the script take? For me it's just sitting there on "copying installer files to disk". been waiting for 20 minutes. nvm, it took about 28 minutes.

    More Volume..

Rehab or anybody, I am wondering if there is anything that can be done to help with volume output. Probook 4540s with the IDT sound chip. In windows sound is very loud and crisp, in Mountain Lion or in Mavericks the sound is not very loud at all turned all the way up. I usually end up...

    RehabMan's ProBook Ivy Bridge 4540s

I figured I would not have any issues with the BCM94322HM8L considering it is a native card for OSX. I'll do some more digging, May just grab the 9280 and try it. Thanks!

    RehabMan's ProBook Ivy Bridge 4540s

I have the BCM94322HM8L. Sometimes I have a few issues with it. If I leave the house putting the machine to sleep and take it to work once I wake it the wifi will not connect, I have to reboot. Wonder if I should get a 9285?

anyone else problem with Sound ?

sound works for me just wished it were louder and clearer. On windows with the IDT sound driver it's loud and clear. In OSX volume is low and using boom causes too much distortion.

Anyone experienced increased battery life yet?

I am using the kexts that pro book installer installs for my 4540s. I have an SSD so that may help a bit. Using half brightness on battery. Have not done any tweaking to get better battery life. On ML I got around 2.5 hours on the battery and on Mavericks I am seeing right around 3 hours.

    Mavericks Black Screen

Only USB mouse I have is a wireless one and it will not work in any of the other ports. On the previous version of unibeast when installing 10.8.5 trackpad and the keyboard work. I am going to try something though. Usually when I use -x to boot to the installer this happens. Just as I...

    Mavericks Black Screen

I have read the guide numerous times. I tried the exact way the guide suggested with no luck. I am having the same issue someone else is having in the sticky thread but you tell him something different? I did what you suggested that "other" user do and I am at least getting farther this time...

    Mavericks Black Screen

I tried all the flags in the guide and get the same thing. I let it sit on the black screen and it just stays black. I can hit caps lock and the light comes on the key, If I let it sit there long enough it goes to sleep. Press the power button and it turns the machine back on but still to a...

Trying to install Mavericks without any luck. I am just getting a black screen after the apple logo when booting from the unibeast usb. I have tried with GraphicsEnabler=no and =yes. Probook 4540s that was successfully running 10.8.5, i5 3210m.

HP ProBook Installer 6.1: 4x30s and 4x40s support

Not really sure I am understanding why there is the BCM patch. On the 4540s this card works out of the box so why is the patch needed?
