Well I might have fixed it. Following some instructions I had reset my BIOS settings to default and forgot to reset AHCI. Still odd the way it worked for a while and then just quit. I may be back.
I'm having serious issues on my dual-boot (Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3) after upgrading to Sierra. It may be related to a bad install. When I installed I mistakenly didn't set the Without Caches option or Inject Kexts option. However, I let it run and at first everything seemed to run great in...
I know this thread is old, but THANK YOU!!!
It turned out to be my ev0reboot.kext as well.
It says in http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-desktop-support/173991-big-list-solutions-el-capitan-install-problems.html#CategoryPanic that:
If it's a panic just after ACPI: sleep states S3 S4 S5...
I know this is an old thread, but I found a fix for this issue. Don't be so quick to dismiss the hardware. By shoving a piece of paper into the mouse's battery compartment, I have seen a great improvement in my magic mouse's bluetooth performance. I found the idea here...
Unbelievable! I don't want to celebrate too soon, but it worked! I've had two successful restarts in a row. You are my hero! I guess we can go ahead and mark this as solved. Thank you so much.
Has anyone else seen or heard of this? Still have the same problem. It is very frustrating. I also don't understand why a computer would have different behavior when I'm doing the same thing every time.
SOLVED!!! Chimera randomly boots OS X Yosemite to White Screen with dual boot
I'm having an issue getting my dual boot hackintosh to boot into Yosemite. About half the time in boots into OS X fine. The rest of the time it boots to a blank white screen with a mouse cursor in the top corner. If I...
Hi. I followed the guide on boot0 error's and mistakenly thought I had this problem running a dual boot. So I ran the following...
dd if=/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk0s2 bs=4096
It was after this I realized that my drive was actually a 512k format drive. Surprisingly, it still boots...
OK. I managed to get it to work. I was getting stuck on the Windows command:
psexec -s -i regedit.exe
I didn't realize you need to download psexec.exe first. I thought the Windows command had changed or something. You can download it here...
Has anyone made any progress on this yet?
edit: missed the date... I'm actually trying to do this with Yosemite and Windows 8.1
nevermind... I missed the part about downloading PSTools. This actually worked for me with Windows 8.1 and Yosemite.
OK. So I managed to get past this issue (so far at least). All I did was unplug my Unibeast USB drive (I also moved by bluetooth adapter from a USB 2 port to a USB 3 port. Doubt my evening of tweaking is over, but at least I'm in now...
I'm having a problem with my dual boot system booting straight into Windows. I can boot OSX from the BIOS. I get a few messages that pop up too quickly to read, but I think they are the Boot0 message based on my new hard drive's model. I left my 8GB flash drive at work. Can I simply boot into...
Sorry, I guess it just didn't compile at one step, but the final file must be ok.
HDMI audio was working previously. I don't think I had any problems as I installed it last December and I have no posts during that period.
The HDMI device is a Sony AVAMP Receiver.
No reason I haven't enabled...
Hi, I have been fighting to get HDMI audio back on machine (OSX 10.9.5) see http://www.tonymacx86.com/hdmi-audio/142954-no-hdmi-audio-gtx650-ga-z77-ds3h.html. I have turned off DSDT in MultiBeast to extract my DSDT directly. I followed these guides:

I appreciate all your help. I have started over several times with what seems to be the correct process. I think I may move it to the support thread with my attached files.
OK, I have a few questions regarding the guide: HD4000 HDMI Audio (v2). I'm pretty sure I'm applying the patches right at this point. I'm applying:
1. AMI-Clean_Compile-7series
2. AMI-HD4000-AMD-Nvidia-A3
and I get no compile errors. This makes me wonder about step 1 of the guide (kext edits)...
