For adding the resolution directly to the com.apple.Boot.plist what does the text/format look like that you add to the file? I want to add my 1920x1200 to see if I can boot into Lion with display port using Lion kexts instead of 10.6.7. Just to see if it works...if not, I can try switching out...

I also have the same issue. If I move a window around quickly the whole screen flashes for a split second with white noise. This started after 10.6.8 install (which forced me to switch from display port to DVI) and the issue persists in Lion 10.7 :(

I'm having the same issue here. When I move windows around I get a very quick screen freak out - like white noise that flashes the entire screen but only for a split second.

Which 3 kexts did you copy? Were you able to just copy them in or did you use kextbeast? Also, do you have the 3 still?

Does anyone have the 10.6.7 display drivers? I want to revert back so I can get display port working. These drivers do in fact work if your system is running 10.6.8? Also, what utility is everyone using to install the kexts? Kextbeast? If so, just putting the files - all of them on the desktop...

I'm in the same boat. Upgraded to 10.6.8 and my monitor stopped working using displayport. DVI works though. :/

I found out its my displayport after 10.6.8 upgrade. DVI works perfect but after 10.6.8 and Chimera 1.4.1 it longer has a signal. Really weird.

I don't have to use display port and since my monitor is only 1920x1200 I guess there is no big difference between DVI and Displayport but its such a strange issue. :/

I am running 10.6.6, multibeast 3.3, and 64bit. I know it use to work but it doesn't now. When I launch expose I don't get any ripples when adding widgets. I also got an error the other day saying CI was turned off. Any ideas? Or point me to a thread would be great appreciated.

I was running audio with the options from multibeast no problem. When I switched to 64bit I no longer get any output options within the sound pane from the system preferences. I am running DSDT, 10.6 and 64bit. I installed the HDA rollback and ALC8xx. Thoughts?
