    new IOreg attached, sorry, I wasn't aware that I needed to reextract it every time. just to sum up again: put SSDT in place, set DropSSDT to Yes in org.chameleon.Boot.plist now speedstep is between 8-16 while it was 16-42 without the ssdt. I want a working ssdt though to get sleep to work...

    Allright, I renamed the ssdt to SSDT.aml and put it into /Extra, rebootet and now MSRDumper only switches between 8 and 16 ôO it used to be 16-42 without the ssdt. Sleep still not working :/ is it the mac mini definition?

    ok, so here is my update. powermanagement: I used dsdtedior to extract the dsdt and edit it like you mentioned.. I just deleted that one line. I compiled (it gave me one error, so I clicked "fix errors" and it worked). saved the file as DSDT.aml and put it into extra. the system boots fine now...
