hope that you have DVI-D ready monitors
just get(buy) two dvi-d cables and hook them to the graphic card and monitors
both cables end(tip) must be like this...
working great! i have just bought two philips 236v led monitors they run like a charm
my issue was due to the older monitors and architecture..just vga in..
now i got DVI and VGA...
i run my monitors from the DVI-I and DVI-D

what type of external sound-card do you use?
did you managed to work with usb3.0 and thunderbolt?
on my hack the usb 3.0 is very very slow..and thunderbolt is not working...
