So as it turns out I just grabbed one of my 1 TB Western Digital HDD and installed 10.8.4 on it. Now when I select it as my boot drive and select the drive from Chimera it boots just fine into my RAID 10.8.5 drive that was really driving me mad. I'd like to eventually get a flawless set up...
Hey Bob,
Yes I set it to 3.1 because it said I wouldn't have to find and delete the kext if set to 3.1
As for the injection I originally had it put in, but then as more kp's were happening I reinstalled with the newer Multibeast and no longer needed these.
I'm curious about your...
Hey Bob, I followed a few different guides.
Dawsman's build for the most part.

Thanks I appreciate the suggestion. Haven't done that just yet, I will try booting from unibeast after I try a few flags that people have recommended. I've tried -x, -f, -v, -s and so far none have worked. I'm not sure if there's a difference, but -F seems to be another recommended flag. I'll...
I can't log into my computer after accidentally updating to it. I noticed there was a digital RAW update and pressed update without thinking to check the "more" section of updates.
Is there any way I can log into the machine and then back up the files and then reinstall? Any other suggestions...
I haven't gotten many answers from users with similar builds. Could anyone please let me know if there's any way to fix these panic issues? I've had clean installs before using snow leopard, but haven't used a hackintosh since then. The company I worked for was using imac's and they were...

Sorry for the double post, but still need a helping hand. Graphics Enabler = No seems to have cut out the audio issues, but I'm still getting a couple kernel panics upon restart.
I think I'm going to try and get a dp to mdp adapter and see if I can get around the issue by disabling the HD4000...
We don't have the exact same hardware wouldn't this make a difference? Just curious.
I currently have my Cinema Display set to the internal GFX HD4000 I think it is so wouldn't this also cause other issues?
My build was exactly like yours, but obviously with a few different hardware...
I set the GraphicsEnabler to No before and there were more panics. Switching it to Yes seemed to cut down the panics. I have my IGFX booting first in order to allow the Cinema Display to access the BIOS and in general show the display. When I switched that to the other option (forget what it's...
Some Kernel Panic Photos to go with the issues. Same situation. Wake from Sleep no audio unplugged/replugged the Cinema Display and nothing happened.
Restarted twice before I was able to log back in.
My issue is that most of the time I shut down, sleep or restart this computer it gets kernel panics. The majority of the time booting straight to the BIOS/UEFI and then saving and exiting will get me to the login screen upon restart, but sometimes it will require several reboots before the...
Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to update that I changed my org.chamelion.boot.plist to Graphics Enabler Yes and that has pretty much stopped the kernal panics. However a few more issues are now up. Sometimes when I restart my computer I no longer can press f12 to get to the bios/uefi...
I have those strings in my org.chameleon.boot.plist with my screen resolution. I'm currently plugging in my cinema display in the thunderbolt port, but I feel may need to switch that to the GTX 670 DP with a MDP to DP adapter. It seems as though my kernal panics are also due to unplugging...

I have 10.6.7 loaded with SL and was curious. My comp rarely ever shuts down after I click on shut down. I've let it sit for 5mins before, but I just end up holding down the power button. Is there any way to fix this so it will quickly shut down when I prompt it to?
Hey I'm just curious is there a reason why my computer freezes with a restart screen sometimes coming up?
I'm running 10.6.6 with a i-960 and GTX 460 1GB with 6 GB 1600 ddr3 ram. I've noticed that sometimes when I'm doing a lot of after effects work that it will freeze up or the mouse will...
