    I can't get my Sapphire HD7970 Ghz Edition Vapor-X 6GB to work. My motherboard is an ASUS P8Z77-V. The HD4000 is set as the primary graphics but when I start Mac OS X with the HDMI plugged in the HD7970 nothing happens... I have waited enough time but the screen stays black. What's wrong ?

    It didn't help. It takes less time to go into sleep mode but it wakes up. I just noticed that it's a sleep -> wake loop. It sleeps (fans off, blinking sleep light) then wakes up and it starts over and over.

    My Asus P8Z77-V uses a flashed BIOS (can't remember where I downloaded it) and I'm not using any DSDT or SSDT (DSDT-Free Install).

    Yes, I did reboot after each change. It seems that I have none of these kexts in /Macintosh HD/System/Library/Extensions. By the way. my motherboard is an Asus P8Z77-V and I'm using a flashed BIOS.

    I tried to change it to ...=1 but it didn't work so I erased the Darkwake line and my boot logo changed but nothing else, still doesn't work.

    Thanks for the quick answer. The "Wake for ethernet network access" in Energy Saver preferences box is already unchecked. And what do you mean by enabling "the C2, C3, and C4 sleep state in the boot.plist." ?
