Your CPU doesn't have compatible graphics, (I'm not sure if its compatible at all). You will need a compatible GPU.

DSDT is not required for imessages to work and I guess you are injecting MLB/ROM via your clover config (as recommend by the guide at the start of this thread) and thats why imessage works not because of your 'method'.

Its not unusual to lose audio on updates, re installing the audio usually sorts it out. For the nvidia web drivers also not unusual for them not too work, best to wait for the updated drivers that work with the update.

Nothings changed on the AMD cpu support, still none for methods on this site.

Just buy an iMac then, as some of the parts are unique to Apple you won't get them elsewhere and buying them as spare parts will end up costing more than just buying an iMac in the first place!

Installing Yosemite is just as easy as mavericks was! Have you even looked at the installation guides on the site?

Mavericks will only be available to you if you have previously downloaded it, otherwise you will have to get yosemite

If your using Clover as a bootloader, the maybe (probably likely), otherwise no, for major updates you have to do unibeast. Whats the problem with using Unibeast anyway?

Have you selected your HDMI as an output for sound in settings? No volume control for HDMI within OSX, the tv itself will be where you control volume.

They are fine to install, those are updates to individual programs not the OS itself.
