    Are you talking about getting an external sound card or PCI or using internal sound on motherboard? I am running an external USB soundcard (Focusrite Saffire 6 USB) and it works a treat in my hack.

    Can you please try formatting the USB again - delete the existing partition(s). You want 1 partition - Mac Extended (Journaled) with a Master Boot Record partition scheme
