I seem to have lost the ability to use AirPlay for mirroring or "Extended display" when I upgraded to Ventura (not sure if it broke when I initially went to 13.3.1 or 13.4). Not a huge deal for me, mostly use it for Zoom webinars on my TV so I can sit on the couch, but it worked fine in...
Any guesses on what might cause this or where to look?
I did try again, then rebooted not reopening windows and tried again. Same result each time.

@CaseySJ I don't thank you often enough.
Made a bootable backup yesterday.
Installed OC 0.92 this morning.
Hit the install button for Ventura 13.3.1 on my Monterey Designare
It took me by surprise that it was already downloaded and rebooted.
A couple of reboots and probably < 30 minutes later...
I'm pretty sure this is a red herring. A Mac and an iPhone have no reason to stay connected via Bluetooth, so they don't. Connecting my iPhone to my MacBookPro yields the same result.
Has anyone had any experience with this one? I had a crash of WindowServer log me out, and then the next day this popped up on me, and at the same time my Bluetooth went out until I rebooted.
Just upgraded to OC 0.77 and the only odd side effect I see is now when I boot mds_stores takes my entire CPU for 2+ minutes and then it all calms back down.

I'm 100% on Monterey now! WD boots like a charm, just had to dig up that "Legacy Bootable" feature in CCC, they don't really advertise it. I've been using Macs as long as they've been around but never had to get this deep in the weeds. I'm more used to the Linux world world...
@trs96
Thanks! I grabbed a WD SN750 1TB at my local Micro Center. Any advice on the cleanest way to migrate my system over to the new SSD, I can't forum posts that have a clear path for Monterey.
Things were working nicely and I upgraded to Monterey without issue this afternoon. Only post-upgrade issue is nightmare boot times.

Wow, quick melt.
SecureBootModel was the problem. I changed it from Default to Disabled and tried again. This time it went to the logo and just froze. I did it again verbose and saw that it complained about having conflicting kexts prelinked so I moved the junk back out of /Library/Extensions...
@CaseySJ
Finally starting my upgrade journey to Monterey.
I have updated my Designare BIOS to F9i (from F9b) and it still boots into Mojave fine with Clover (5119)
I created a USB drive with your preconfigured OpenCore 0.7.6 and added the required fields with OpenCore Configurator (looked at...
One more version question, where does the F9 BIOS default on the CFG-Lock and is it recommended? I see it says you can't roll back so it would be risky to test it.
@CaseySJ
I was actually checking in to ask pretty much the same. I've been stable on Mojave(18G9323)/Clover(5119) for ages but would like to move to Monterey.
My system is closer to the spec of this thread:
Mobo: Gigabyte Designare Z390
Processor: Core i9 9900K
Graphics: Sapphire RX 580...
