    Hmm interesting! I'll try flipping mine around and see if its monitor specific or to do with the connection plug. It was just strange as it happened with the same monitor but on a different setup (core 2 duo and geforce 9800GT).

    Had the same problem - installed the old 10.6.2 kext (AppleHDA rollback I believe) and ensured I removed the current kext. Repaired kext cache and permissions / restart and all it sweet :)

Tested with both the standard lion driver and the Lnx2Mac driver. It's not a huge issue...

    @Psyk - I have the MSI 460GTX Hawk too and after installing the Tonymac nvidia drivers - mac pro 10,3 or 10,5 it works a treat! No need for NVenabler running 10.6.7. i find the 10,3 gives the best performance - and i use wallsaver to keep from KP's.. I'm not a sandy bridge though i'm wondering...

    Solved! Videocard is working, well kinda....

    Great to hear!!! if you get the fermi freeze don't forget to use the Wallsaver app and keep it working. Lion apparently brings Fermi support so hang out for that :)

    use wallsaver to prevent the fermi free. Until lion comes around which fixes it apparently
