There is an issue with NVidia cards with 15,1 and 17 iMac and 6,1 Mac Pro SMBIOS. There's a solution for it in the forum here:

Good luck.
Does your computer sleep/restart/shut down properly?
The important parts of the clover folder is attached.
The wifi card is a TP-Link TL-WDN4800. It just works.
I was thinking of that solution for the wifi but it looks like editing a kext and about that I'm not so sure I want to do.
absolutely!
I think there are two more USB ports on the board HS02/SS02 and HS04/SS04 (at the SS01 and SS03 ports). My case has only one USB 3.0 socket so that's why it is just a guess. If someone could tell me for sure I'd add that to the picture.
I have a Gigabyte Z170X-UD3 (BIOS F4) with a 6600K and Asus GTX 670 (Nvidia) 4GB card plus a TP-LINK Wifi card.
I got OSX 10.11.1 working on it with sound and all USB ports (there's no driver yet for the network card).
Sleep did work but with issues (USB ports repeatedly disconnect after...
I have the same combo (Z68X-UD3H-B3 and GTX 670) and some sleep problems.
Sleep was working fine in Lion but I decided to update.
Updated the BIOS to UEFI as well that caused reboot loops after putting the rig to sleep so reverted back to F12.
Can't get sleep to work under 10.8.2.

Hello!
I have the same mainboard that you the difference is I use the HD3000 as my videocard, and from time to time the cursor disappears on the second display.
I use a Wacom Intuos that I think might be related.
I use 10.7.3
Did you find any solutions to the problem?
best regards...
DonutHands:
Did you manage to make the HD camera work on USB?
I just got one (taken from an iMac) and I'd like to wire it up to USB and I look for the pinout.
The connector has 7 pins in it.
I made my own iSight taken from the 13" MacBook.
The cables are very delicate but (after 4 failures) I managed to make it work and have it's delicate cabling safe for moving.
For this I mostly used the display cable's unwinded sticky textile-like material.
I made a magnetic mounting to my...
This is a MacBook Pro top case that I'm after getting and modding next because the latest version of it's trackpad supports not only two-finger scroll but multi-touch.
It can even be made backlit.
I'm thinking on putting speakers behind the speaker grille but it might make it too thick.
So here they come then.
Before the soldering it's best to disconnect the cable from the logic board under the gray cover on the backside of the trackpad.
You need to flip-up the edge of the connector or the flex cable will most likely be damaged.
I de-soldered the connector at the end of...
I gained some more knowledge in the topic because I work at an apple repair center for a month now.
The MBP you got is a unibody model, that has the kb/trackpad logic on the main logic board therefore it's not usable for our purposes.
There are keyboard/trackpads (topcases) that are compatible...
I read posts here about how to make the VGA output work.
So it can be made to work.
I hope that it can be part of the 3 display extended desktop.
I'd be satisfied if I could clone my main desktop. HDMI or VGA.
I have my main display on the DP connector and my secondary display on the DVI connector.
I'd like to have to connect my TV to the HDMI connector to use as a third display.
The problem is that it seems that only two ports (not including the VGA) can be used at one time.
Has anyone got it to work?
I'd rather not put my camera behind the monitor bezel.
That way I wouldn't be able to move it around.
That is exactly the problem I had with MacBook cameras in most situations.
It's best on top, detachable. At least for me.
As I checked in my MacBook

- IR receiver
- iSight
