I had the same issue, I installed the correct DSDT and nvenabler, nvenabler 64 on first boot. The card works without the need to type any options.

Hi I had the very same issue with the card. What I did is install the correct DSDT on first boot and nvenabler, nvenabler64 kexts. This way the card is recognized as "unknown nVidia card" with 512mb ram and works. Also, I used the DVI slot.

Result: It was the video card that made me unable to install. With the GT210 it works out of the box. Check the latest list of supported video cards: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/11/building-sandy-bridge-customac-buyers.html

I ordered a new GFX card (GT210) since as it turns out the HD4670 is no more supported in Lion. I hope it solves my problem because other than that everything should work.

I have the exact same problem. Installer hangs on grey textured screen. But the PC is not frozen. It just keeps on waiting for something...
