Ventura installed just fine on the HP 450 G7 (already using OpenCore 0.8.5) but would not install correctly on the Aorus Z490 Elite using OC 0.8.2 (continuous reboot loop). Installation went fine after updating the Z490 to OC 0.8.5.
Successfully upgraded my HP ProBook 450 G4 to Catalina (supplemental update) today. After installing the Catalina compatible Broadcom BlueTooth kexts, everything seems to be working as expected.

What version of Clover are you using? I had the same issue recently when trying to upgrade to 10.14.6 and subsequently trying to do a clean install of 10.14.6 on my laptop. Installer would look like it was frozen, and then after 20-25 minutes would continue install. Updated Clover from v4701 to...
The backlight level is not being restored after a shutdown/restart on my HP ProBook 450 G4 and is always set at max level upon startup. I have checked that the Clover RC scripts are installed and that NVRAM is working. I can set/change backlight level using f5/f6 keys and can check the...
Thanks @wern! I'd been having the same issue with my ProBook 450 G4 and the patch in the attached config.plist fixed the problem. Now the volume sliders are synced AND the volume level is restored to the previous level after reboot. Now if I could only figure out why my screen brightness isn't...
I had to drop the MATS table (ACPI > DropTables) to get the High Sierra installer to run and to boot after installation on my GA-Z77X-UP5 TH. You can do this in the Clover config.plist ([...] means there could be other entries before or after DropTables in the ACPI section):
<key>ACPI</key>...
Thanks! This method fixed the 'wake from sleep with black screen' problem that has been nagging me with 10.13 and 10.13.1 on my HP ProBook 450 G4 (Kabylake). I used DarwinDumper to extract the EDID.bin file and then used FixEDID (v2.3.2, using Apple iMac Display (16:10)) to create the file to...
For me, it took adding FakeSMC.kext to /EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other and removing EmuVaribleUefi-64.efi from the /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI directory and starting the install/update again from the App Store. After installation was complete, I removed FakeSMC.kext and put EmuVariableUefi-64.efi back...
Under 10.12.6, I had the same issue with max brightness and max volume upon startup, but no sleep issues. I did pull the latest files from from your git prior to installation and when I configured 10.13 post install. I will give it a try with a fresh install, but I resorted to the update from...
I have installed 10.13 (17A405) on my ProBook 450 G4. Most everything is working working correctly but sleep. After the machine is put to sleep by closing the lid or using the 'Sleep' command from the Apple menu, upon trying to rewake, I get a black screen. Using the brightness keys, I can see...
Google 'Windows 10 boot repair' and you find several different methods for repairing your Windows 10 boot files. Most require a bootable Windows 10 installation USB - you can Google how to make one of those, too.
Good Luck

Have you tried removing EmuVariableUefi-64.efi from your /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI folder? I had to do that on both my desktop and laptops to get the Hight Sierra Installer to finish.

Anyone having any luck getting High Sierra working on a ProBook 450 G4 (Kabylake)? I had 10.12.6 running pretty well, and was initially able to install High Sierra on an HFS+J partition using the Clover USB Install, Avoid AFPS conversion, and Clover hotpatch guides, but was having stability...
Hmm. On second thought, maybe the NVRAM is not working correctly. EmuVariableUefi-64.efi is installed in the /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI folder and the nvram.plist file is being updated (at least according to the date stamp), but the SystemAudioVolume and SystemAudioVolumeDB entries keep changing...
