Could somebody please walk me through step 1 in detail? I dont understand what name to put in the "unibeast volume name" and why do you use booth backslash and normal slash?
And where in the info section do I find the volume name? Is it under "name" or "System name"???
Ive just succesfully installed windows 7 on a partition on my HD.. The problem is, when trying to boot in to lion 10.7.2 using rBoot, I get this kernel panic...
Anyone out there who can help?
Hey!
My internet works fine, but there is an annoying problem.. After reboot I'll get a self assigned ip that doesn't work. The fix is to delete the com.apple.afl.plist in the library/preferences folder..
However I would like to not have to do that every time I want to reboot.. Any workarounds...
Weird thing is! When I unplug the firewire cable from my computer, it still acts like its still in there!!
If i go to Audio out in sys.pref the Presonus Firestudio audio interface still shows up..
It only shows:" FireWire-buss - Max. speed: Up to 800 Mb/sec"
Is the TI chipset known as problematic here in the forum? :p
And what's the difference between PCI, PCIE. Express Card and BusCard???

Just found out that these cards do not have any drivers for osx and not even win7! So its an old card.. I guess I was in a hurry when I bought it...
I got this to work by deleting all the hda kexts in extensions folder! Kinda sucks that you cant run booth firestudio and onboard sound at the same time...
Uninstall the HDA files from extensions then run system utilites and restart - Then install current lion drivers for presonus firestudio...
I use a pci-firewirecard connected to my presonus firestudio audio interface! It works fine after connecting it after boot! But sometimes if I turn off the device and try to turn it on it makes my whole osx buggy!
Videos (exs.youtube) wont play and makes chrome(safari) hang! This occurs to...
When trying to add 1080p to the chimera boot screen I messed around with org.chimera.boot.plist and basicly can't boot anymore..
How can I restore the bootloader without having to reinstall? I have tried safe mode and iboot.. None works!
I get an occasionally kernel panic - reboot message when booting Lion 10.7.2 with chimera 1.7.0! Rebooting one or multiple times seems to fix it and I can boot up normally! But best thing would be to not have any kernel panics :p
Any ideas?
