I have mine as 14,2 not 14,1. Yes, inject nvidia.

I just generated all new numbers and changed to 14,2 and no longer had a black screen. I don't use imessage but icloud works fine.

I used the combo update. Got a KP on restart. I had to remove OemSmbios.kext to get back up and running. Seems ok now.

I just had the same issue. You need to define your system as a MacMini5,1 using MultiBeast and you should be good.
