First off, learn even the basics. Your video tells us nothing. Learn to use verbose mode, learn what command line switches you might need to use.
To start you off, make sure your USB stick is in a USB2 port. That can help get past "waiting for root device" errors. Second you may need a DSDT...
GTX 660 should be fine. I ran 660 Ti for quite a while on my current system without problems. Your biggest problem is going to be the motherboard, I have no idea how well it is supported.
Try turning off CPU PLL overvoltage if your BIOS has a setting like that. That is what prevents Gigabyte boards from waking from sleep.
For DSDT patching try using the generic MacIASL patches only and also the ones that change the device names (so they work better with further patches).
The setting is not necessarily available in BIOS even if the CPU supports it. It's completely up to the BIOS developers what options to include. For example my Abit IP35 had no option for HPET but it still worked fine with a Q9650.
I would imagine it is available on any Core 2 CPU and newer.
Do you need to extract/create a SSDT somehow or is it read from UEFI? I have the wake issue but I think I have the Generate C- / P-States in Chameleon's boot list.
So why would someone actually choose OSX specifically for a HTPC, considering Windows software allows for far greater image quality adjustments via FFDshow etc and Plex and XMBC are available for it as well?
By default OSX doesn't have PS/2 keyboard/mouse support. Try using a PS/2 to USB adapter that possibly came with your keyboard. Alternatively you could add PS2 kexts to your installation USB.
So I'm having trouble getting kernelcache working on my Hackintosh.
When I try to rebuild the kext cache with
sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel; sudo kextcache -system-caches
I get the following error:
Kernel file /mach_kernel does not contain requested arch: i386

Same situation here. Everything should be patched fine but wake doesn't work. What I do know is that it hangs before it can log anything or give anything meaningful to start debugging. I get a CMOS reset when I wake from sleep despite patched AppleRTC (no CMOS reset on shutdown or restart)...
