Dear Community,
I've been a member for many years and always seemed to find help on these forums. I haven't updated my machine in a while and the last time I did so it broke my entire computer and I had to spent like a week fixing things so I'm wondering the following:
Is it possible to do a...
Wow, great response. Didn't expect that. Thanks a lot for the kind words!
Any tipps on helping making this guide better is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

NullCPU and VoodoTSync is needed if you didn't set it up otherwise. Dart=0 is needed if VT-d is activated in BIOS.
I did add "Power Management" to this Tutorial with how to generate SSDT etc. but it got removed because it wasn't Tonymac software.

Hey guys!
I have a problem for a few days now and the problem is that after my hackintosh starts up Finder is often unresponsive and I have the spinning wheel of death ( I can open other apps, like Chrome or Skype they work fine ) but Finder seems to have a problem.
I didn't really change...
Overclocking is a mystery and every processor and motherboard is different.
Usually you have to do a trial and error until you find the perfect settings that fit you best.
The most simple overclock would be to higher the "multiplier", default 32, put it at 40 and you get 4.0Ghz...
There are no "bugs" in this guide. That's just the guide that worked for me and I hope that it will work for people as well.

Make sure you use these boot-flags to boot : -v npci=0x2000 cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=no
If that doesn't work try: -v npci=0x2000 cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=no dart=0
Also make sure you install "EasyBeast" from Multibeast once you're on your desktop.
Hope that helps.
Dave
Very interesting, thanks for the info! Mine work with 6.01

What do you mean, "why"? You need these kexts in order to get your hack working. MultiBeast doesn't always cover everything to get a proper hack working so you need to learn to install kexts on your own.
I attached my BIOS settings in this post for you to check out!
Yes sleep works now...
The problem was very strong at 10.9.1 but after upgrading to 10.9.2 and using Multibeast 6.1 the problem was much less prominent. I also installed "YouTube Options".
Dave
You should install the kexts properly via kext wizard or kext utility and always repair permissions and reload cache after you're done.
FakeSMC emulates a fake Mac ID so DSMOS (Don't Steal Mac Os X) doesn't stop the booting process.
VoodoTSCSync makes sure that your CPU is recognized and...

Looks like you forgot to install the voodootscsync 6 core kext and the fakesmc kext.
