Yeah it's the ACPIbacklight.kext not the applebacklight kext which in the plist mentions your github repo. I deleted that and the probook kext and that seems to have done the trick! DAMN IT'S BRIGHT!!8-)

I think I've just found the simple way to find them. Went into extensions, arrange by date added and there's all 13 bundled together! Simples:thumbup::thumbup:

I just looked at the installer through pacifist and I see a few kexts that I think might have been patched. I've looked under 4X30 support and contents of common files. I should have to replace these with vanilla correct??

I don't believe I have made any myself, only what the pb installer has done but i'll double check the clover install method thread to make sure. Do you want any files from the macbook? Such as dsdt's for comparison? I know they were needed when the probook support started a few years back...
