Hi,
I did not encounter any problem after editing NVDAGF100HAL.KEXT. Before edting I was stuck with 1024x768 resolution. After editing, I got back all the available resolution. Now running at 1680x1050. Also got back QE/CI.
Suggest you backup before trying this.

Updated to 10.7.2:
1. Had to re-edit NVDAGF100Hal.kext for my GTX 560Ti graphics resolutions.
2. had to rollback audio
3. iCloud account not working
For the graphics card ids:
Go to System/Library/Extensions/ and open up (Show Package Content) the NVDAGF100Hal.kext.

What are you running? Snow Leopard or Lion?
I got this problem with Lion. Some of us resolve this by copying the Snow Leopard AppleRTC.kext and replace the Lion AppleRTC.kext

I have the same webcam C910.
No problem with facetime. Camera turns on everytime automatically when ever I start facetime. Webcam is connect to a hub then to a USB 2.0 port.
Don't have Skype or photo booth, so can't feedback on these 2.

You need to do a search here to find out how to insert the strings manually into boot.Apple.plist file found in the /Extra folder so that you don't have to key in at every bootup. You should be able to insert PCIRootUID=1 using Multibeast. After that open boot.apple.plist and add npci=0x2000...

As mentioned, I get 1680x1050 max and that is the native resolution for my monitor ( a Phillips 22 inch). Not 1920x1080.
Installed Lion using 10.6.8 SL, then Xmove & Multibeast as provided here.

Currently using Sapphire HD5670 1GB. Lion recognise the card as 5600 series with GraphicsEnabler=Yes. Monitor detected correctly and all resolution avail up to 1680x1050.
If I set GraphicsEnabler=No, card is recognised as 5000 series but dvd and geekbench crash.
