Thanks, sounds good. Do you suggest the Mac-ified install, or the isolated one?

Parallels Crashes Lion - Any Suggestions?

I tried it and I could load Win7 32-Bit, but not 64. That works for me. Thanks. Is Parallels better or faster?

Parallels Crashes Lion - Any Suggestions?

I can't even get Win7 installed in Parallels, the screen goes black and OSX reboots. Parallels' web site shows a boot flag to set that may help, but I'm not able to keep it running long enough to set it.

USB standing between me and good sleep

I can get Lion to sleep, but when it awakens, USB doesn't work unless I plug (or re-plug)something into a USB port. Anyone solved a similar problem?

Is it possible to remove SL and keep Lion only?

I wouldn't do that until IBoot is capable of booting directly to Lion. If you have a problem booting Lion, you'll need the backup.

I did it - follow vdmesis' recipe to a T and it works. I sure wish someone could automate this whole process however. That was a lot of work, but also funn. I'm getting 13,000+ Geekbench. Does that mean Speedstep is working? USB3 also working as is Bluetooth and Sound. Are there specidic BIOS...

Yes, I have a P8Z68 Pro, so I won't need a DSDT, but for information, what is a DSDT and when is it needed. Thank you. I see you have the same board. Is the install for the Pro different than what is described in this thread for the Deluxe?

oswaldini , where you wrote "Your DSDT", can you (or someone) explain what that means and what one would do with it. I'm new and DSDT's are the one are that I'm really not able to understand. Thanks

ASUS P8Z68 Pro Lion Install Support

How can you tell if Speedstep is working? Geekbench doesn't work on many Lion hacks, especially clean installs. Is Turboboost the same thing as Speedstep?
