Had the same issue after an upgrade of clover. Messing around tonight to solve a few issues (or try to) and happened to see that under Clover Configurator>Boot>Debug was ticked (I can't recall doing that). Cleared that option, saved config and rebooted. Problem solved. Maybe you could have...
Could maybe be related to chimera? I'm having a problem on my Asus P8Z77 VL-K at the moment where if I install chimera to get HD4000, I can't boot unless I use -x at boot. Installing the latest chameleon allows me to boot, so I'm going the manual way of getting HD4000. Not sure this is your...
BIOS set up correctly Even went as as far as disabling sound,LAN, serial port etc, but same result everytime. Didn't want to waste more time so I just got up and running. Willing to try solutions if anyone has one for the sake of finding the precise nature of the fault

Not sure what you mean? Do you mean that when you do:
sudo dmesg | grep AppleIntelE1000
that you get no output? If so, then your kext is not loading. Remove IONetworkingFamily kext from /S/L/E and replace with one that tonymacx86 has posted a few post ago. Repair permission of your OS...
Oops, I didn't correct the first part of the previous post (corrected now). Second part reads:
Hackintosh:~ Charl$ sudo dmesg | grep AppleIntelE1000
Had to add grep! Sorry, bad mistake...
What do you get when you check the logs of dmesg in terminal?
sudo dmesg | grep AppleIntelE1000
Mine would show the kext loading succesfully as follows:
Hackintosh:~ Charl$ sudo dmesg | grep AppleIntelE1000
AppleIntelE1000e(Info): changing MTU from 0 to 1500
AppleIntelE1000e: Ethernet address...
Have you tried to delete /S/L/Extensions.mkext? Rebuild by dragging /S/L/E to kext utility or do following in terminal:
cd /System/Library
sudo kextcache -m Extensions.mkext Extensions
See if that sort out the problem
Thanks for the reply. Searched around for similar errors and found a solution. I had the dsdt for the Intel55WB on the bootdisk and just had to remove it. Now to learn how to build a decent dsdt. Done one with RTC and DTGP fixes, but I know very little otherwise. Reading furiously at the moment...
Hi. I installed onto a Intel DP55WB and got everything working. Decided I'll give the board back and get a new H55 board so that I could take advantage later when the SandyBeach CPU's come out. Big problem though!

Solution to Intel 82578 ethernet at this link. I was so glad when after 3 days of searching I found someone that had ported the Linux e1000 driver that works with this chipset ;-)
