Hello fellow modders!
Im new to this forum, and i recently got a free Powermac G4 Graphite from a friend. My uncle offered to paint the case in a nice matte pearly white, along with a black apple logo. I already stripped the case for components, and as other post say, i need to place new stand-offs for the motherboard, as i plan to use a gigabyte micro-ATX mobo. My question for you guys is:
How should i approach the removal and reinstallation on the mobo stand-offs?
I removed the cd-drive, as well as the cd-drive bay, and im not planning on reinstalling it, so RAM hitting the drive won't be a problem, but will a regular ATX-board fit? I know it has been done, but not sure about airflow, and overall space in the case. Time isn't an issue, so ill take my time on the tonymacx86 forums.
Any tips for a starter? Im 16, so this is new for me.
Cheers!
