Dear all,

Some may have seen my topic on my "space/cooling-problems".
I have been making changes to the design and the outer and inner case, and that makes this project "done"!

Partlist:
Mobo: Asus Maximus VII Impact (ITX) Z97 (with onboard AC-wifi and BT4.0)
CPU: Intel i5 4590
CPU cooler: low profile Noctua NH-L9i
GPU: Asus GTX 970 mini DCMOC
RAM: 2x 4Gb Crucial tactical LP 1600 1,35V
Main SSD: 128 Samsung SM951 M2 SSD (Dualbooting Windows 10 Pro & OS X El Capitan)
Media HDD: 1 TB 2,5" Samsung drive
PSU: X7 500W Pico-PSU (+2x Dell 240W 19A power bricks)
Casefan 1 (bottom): Fractal Design 40mm R2 Silent
Casefan 2 (top): Titan 70mm
Touch sensor: Edison Sensor
IR Sensor: Original Macbook Pro (A1286) IR sensor

This computer was meant as a) gaming PC and b) Kodi-server for movies and TV Shows.
It's hooked up to a) 23" Apple Cinema HD Display and b) Sony KDL-48W605.

Temperatures:
Idle Processor: 42C / 47C
Idle GPU: 27C / 30C

Unigine Heaven Processor: 60C / 65C
Unigine Heaven GPU: 75C (it just hits 76C)
FPS: 47,8

Intel BurnTest V2 Processor: max. 87C
(with slight overclock, running several background apps like ut*****t, CouchPotato etc)
Testing "Standard" / "10x"
Score: Completed in 140.11 seconds

For getting these processor-temps I really need the 2 fans, and for keeping the GTX970 cool, it really needed the huge hole in the back, so it can breathe freely. I've also had 4 holes drilled, so I can add an extra fan on the back if needed....

Thanks to everyone that helped me with giving advice!

Best regards,

Bart

Hi burdie

Looks good!

Could you post some pics of the innards?

Hi!

I will, as soon as I have my new 500W Pico-Psu....

The previous one seemed to be broken, as it would not pick up my second power brick.

I had to run on one, which caused my PC to crash through a powersurge after an hour of gaming :(

The new Pico is on it's way (the seller says), so as soon as I receive it, I will put it back together and post new pics!

BR
