Will OSX run with the new GTX 1080

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a new desktop PC for video and photo editing. I've always preferred OSX but need power from a desktop for a reasonable price. Considering changing it to a Hackintosh.

Would OSX El Capitan run on the following system:

ASUS X-99A motherboard
Intel Core i7 Eight Core Processor i7-6900K (3.3GHz) 20MB Cache
32GB HyperX SAVAGE DDR4 3000MHz (4 x 8GB Kit
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1080
960GB HyperX SAVAGE 2.5" SSD
CORSAIR 550W VS SERIES VS-550 POWER SUPPLY
Corsair H80i V2 Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler

There are no drivers yet for the GTX 1080, so the answer is no at this time, but it's expected that Nvidia will add support for it to their Web Drivers for OS X / macOS soon.

Partner's Hack

So if I put this card in my build, will OSX just use the Intel graphics and windows use the 1080 when booted?
