RehabMan, I have one very annoing thing with VodooPS2 and touchpad. I'll try to explain: when I point and tap on something -- window elements, icons etc. pointer often jumping (sometimes a bit, sometimes 1-2 cm) and I need do it again (for example close window 2-3 time). I doesn't matter what settings is. In Linux pointer stable like mountain while tapping. Is it possible to do with it?

It is a feature I'd like to implement, but haven't the time to do it.

Rehabman, I have tried the latest VoodooPS2Controller, and my PS/2 mouse still won't work.

My mouse works fine in Clover, Windows and at my UEFI settings, but not in OS X.

The debug version reports that no PS/2 mouse can be detected. Please help.

Mouse support should be disabled in Clover.

(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

Thanks for getting back to me.

Mobo: Asrock Z97 Pro4 (Clover)
CPU: Pentium G3258 (with FakeCPUID)
Graphics: GTX 260, 1600x900

I have disabled mouse support in Clover. Where do I go from here?

This forum is for laptops only. But why are you using a PS2 mouse on a modern desktop? Use a USB mouse.

Brightness, Volume, Mute and Wifi/BT buttons don't work anymore with latest VoodooPS2Controller.kext on Sierra on my EliteBook 8460P. Also the trackpad settings won't show up - settings page is just blank. Will this be fixed by the kext or is there another solution (DSDT patch,...) ?

All known problems with no known fix (there's a few more similar problems if you continue to test).

Some may have to wait until after Apple releases 10.12 source.

There are easy work arounds to all those problems:
- volume: use the menu bar volume control
- brightness: use the menu bar brightness controls enabled by berg design's brightness app
- WiFi/BT buttons are hardware specific (ACPI), not part of OS X itself
- trackpad settings: use 'ioio' to set the settings. You can create a startup daemon script that calls ioio when you login or at startup

@RehabMan, can You be more specific with that? I would like to change two settings of my internal touchpad working VoodooPS2 on 10.12:
- changing speed to maximum
- set touch (tap) as click

How should I edit ioio?
