No. Not if you didn't change anything. You should try some openCL benchmark to verify openCL performance. If numbers are abnormally low or the app crashes or give errors, you know that openCL is broken. If you have a windows install and benchmarks are similar there too, it could point to faulty hardware. If you don't have a windows install, you could try installing OS X fresh on a different drive. If the problem persist on a fresh clean install, then it could point to a possible hardware problem but could still be a software issue. If the issue is not present in the new install, then it points to something faulty in your current install.

Today I try a new clean install, the problem still here. So I replace my new 980ti by my old 770 (like my old config) and the problem still here, so i think it's a software problem... I also try to uninstall and resinstall nvidia web drivers, same thing...
Edit : I launch an old drive backup of yosemite (with clover on) and it works. Do you think i could be DSDT or SSDT related ?

Remove the acpi files in question and test. Probably SSDT-1 but I'm not sure exactly what configuration you have.

EDIT: But you'll need to use the SSDT-1 from the original install folder that contains only:

I have tried doing this install multiple times and every time I get the same result.
I boot to the clover screen fine, then when I try to go further, during the verbose boot it shows this line:

000010.720661 AppleUSB20HubProt@1d140000: AppleUSBHostPort::disconnect:: persistent enumeration failures

It hangs for a bit on the line above, then it goes to the line below..

[IOBluetoothfamily][SearchforTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport!

It hangs on the line above for 30 seconds to a minute and then the screen goes "strange"(some of the words become unreadable) and a "no entry" sign appears in the middle of the screen. The screens flashes every minute or so and blank line is added below the last boot line.

Hope this all makes sense. I haven't installed OSX onto PC hardware since my Gigabyte GX58 UDR3 board...
I am lost, please help!

My specs are:
Rampage 4 Extreme - bios 4901
Intel 3930 cpu
Ripjaw 4 x 4GB ram
MSI GTX 970 4 gb.

Any help will be great appreciated, Thank you!

What version of the OS are you installing? Could you please upload the entire clover folder from the efi partition you are using

I'm trying to install El Capitan, I have attached a zip of the clover folder.
Really appreciate the help.

I don't see anything abnormal for the installer EFI folder. How many times have you tried the install? Are your BIOS settings the same as I've outlined in the guide?

Thanks you for your reply.
I really was hoping you would find an issue in that folder... oh well, back to the drawing board.
My boot settings are exactly as you have outlined in your guide, I have tried to boot so many times I've lost count.
I have attached shots of all the changes I made to the bios after restoring optomized defaults..
As far as I can tell these are the exact settings you outline in your guide, unless I am missing something.

After it not working multiple times I tried a view variations, namely:

on the onboard devices page:
1. I have tried disabling the bluetooth controller(as this is the line it always crashes on)
2. different setting with ASM1061 controller, including disabling it.

On the Advanced USB configuration page:
1. I tried disabling Legacy USB3.0 support
2. The hilighted line in my pic (Sandisk) I tried changing that from auto to "forced FDD" and "hard disk" neither worked.

CSM page:
1.I tried setting it up as you suggested for an older GPU, just as I wanted to try anything and it didn't work..

I think that covers everything I have tried.
Thank you so much for all your help on this, it is greatly appreciated.
Lastly could it have anything to do with RAM modules?? I have all 4 of my 4GB modules in.

Your picture with the Prohibitory Symbol shows "Still waiting for root device".
When installing this usually means that it cannot find your USB flash drive.
Typically this is caused by using a USB3 flash drive or using a USB3 port.
If this is the case try a USB2 port.
If it is already in a USB2 port try another, repeat until it works or you have tried all ports.
If still not booting try another USB flash drive.

Thanks guys,
Cool, so I have tried every USB2.0 port on this board, the only difference is that some of the back ports repeat the
"000010.720661 AppleUSB20HubPort@1d140000: AppleUSBHostPort::disconnect:: persistent enumeration failures" line a few times before the bluetooth line ( with a different port number where I underlined above) and when I tried using the USB2.0 port headers from the board to the front of my chassis, I didn't get that line at all... but in the end it gave me the same "Prohibatory symbol" result.
I have to run out now as I have a shoot to get to, but I will purchase a new flash drive on my way home, try again and report back with my findings.
Thanks again!!!
I really hope we can sort this out, don't want to have to get a Z170 build as I love my X79 and I really need the PCIe lanes..
