I haven't built a Hackintosh yet, but I spent a little time in the audio troubleshooting section of this forum and it seems like Gigabyte motherboards are most commonly used with Hackintoshes and also the most likely to have issues with OS X.

Which brand of motherboards has the least issues with OS X?

The ones with Intel NICs, the ones without USB3.1, the ones with AC1150 (meaning no "strange" audio controllers), the ones not running NVME SATA drives, the ones running SATA drives that are known to work well, the ones not running certain video cards, the ones not being overclocked, the ones with CPUs that are closest to what Apple is running, etc.

Otherwise, most mobos will have some sort of issue installing and running OSX. Once it's installed the usual problems are video, internet and sound, with power sleep/hibernation bringing up the rear.
