I have OSX installed and working through Clover for 1 year now. My MB is ASRock H97M Pro, UEFI.
I installed clover on my Win 10 USB. I can get to clover screen but when selecting "Boot MS EFI..." it just refreshes.

What I've tried:

  • USB installer using RUFUS (GPT partition UEFI, FAT32)
  • Unplugging OSX drives, leaving only pre-Windows HDD drive
  • Unplugging ethernet and unneeded usb cables (except keyboard/mouse bluetooth usb)
  • Using Integrated Graphics
  • Set USB settings to "UEFI support only" in bios
  • Tested Windows 7 UEFI install. It works np, but I'd rather Win 10
  • Searching TonyMac and other Hackintosh forums. Not sure what else I can try.
Any others ideas why I cannot boot Windows 10 install?

Ok I got rid of clover and tried Rufus again following the exact steps from the link (changing BIOS settings and such). I attempted both the Rufus UEFI and Legacy methods. Still no boot.

Would using different burners like MCT or Win 7 USB DL Tool make any difference? I feel like my Windows 10 copy is the issue.

Rufus not needed. In fact, no special software required at all for Win10 UEFI.

Format a FAT32 USB and copy all files/directories in the root of the Win10 ISO to the root of the USB. It is simple copy/paste in Windows Explorer.

Did just that, formatting a Fat32 Usb and copying all the stuff from the iso image. When I boot from the usb, Windows says it needs to be repaired and that's it.
I just want to be able to boot from Clover to Win10, and legacy Win 10 doesn't seem to work. My Dvd win 10 installer refuses to install on a GPT disk. Why?

I was having the same issue. I only got the pendrive to work by setting CMS on BIOS ON. I then was able to boot from the USB and install WIN10 on a different drive. I have a question though... I am unable to boot from the installed win10 drive after I get CMS off again on the BIOS to boot from my hackintosh partition. Any Ideas on how could I just have CMS turned off and also have my win10 partition drive to boot from clover?

CMS is Legacy.

Was Windows installed as UEFI? Did you choose UEFI-USB (FAT) with the boot F key? Or did you choose USB (FAT) with the boot F key? If you installed it as USB then Windows 10 was not installed in UEFI. And if you turn off CSM then it may not be able to detect the disc drive, so you can't boot from the disc drive.
