I'm trying for the first time to set up a hackintosh. I'm using an acer aspire e1-572 laptop I had extra, I'm running legacy BIOS and this kernel panic came up while using the boot " PCIRootUID=1 GraphicEnabler=no -x"
I couldn't figure out all my specs but I do have the msinfo32 stuff
system man. acer
system model. aspire e1-572
system type. x64
processor. i5-4200u 2 core
ram. 8gb

No support in Snow Leopard for Haswell. Install El Capitan instead.

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.

What do you mean? I thought iBoot Haswell was precisely aimed for systems with Haswell CPUs.

iBoot Haswell is just so you can get to 10.6.8 to download a newer version of OS X...
It is often difficult to work on laptops.

Better to start with a newer OS X to begin with (borrow a Mac from someone you know).

If you wish to go the SL route, you must purchase a SL DVD directly from Apple (it will be SL 10.6.3, not 10.6.0 as you have).
