Hi everyone, i plan to buy the evga GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0 and i wanted to know if anyone was succed with its installation on el capitan 10.11.5.

No, I am having extreme problems with getting the mackintosh to use the gtx 970.

Driver not being recognised in OS X. I install nvidia web driver. Then select nvidia manager in system preferences. When I restart as requested I the set boot argument to nvda_drv=1 but it does not load the nvidia driver which seem to reset to OS X. I have a Zotac 4gb 970 GPU.

Any ideas?
 
maybi a EVGA brand should be better than ZOTAC i don't know this.
