Thanks all worked fine till the reboot. After reboot I am still stuck with grey screen and revolving circle. I used default config.plist and it said the version of the hardware is not supported. I edited the config.plist using the clover config editor in SMBOIS to have MacBookPro8,2 with other details. Attached is the config.plist after the edit. now I boot okey but stuck in grey screen and spinning wheel on the top left corner.

Please help me or provide me your config.plist as I have the same model

Don't use Clover Configurator with Clover Hotpatch it breaks config.plist. Clover Configurator cant handle the edits. Use PlistEditor to edit config.plist. What do you mean by grey screen and spinning wheel? Attach screenshot.

Thanks again, Sorry for the delayed reply, Have to take my son out for dinner as its school holidays here.

once I rebooted after the initial install, I got hardware not supported from Rhabman's config.plist hence I changed the SMBIOS using plist editor as suggested by you and stuck with the grey screen and spinning wheel. Please find the attachments

You cannot use a full hotpatch config.plist without the corresponding kexts installed and the corresponding ACPI/patched content.

Thanks a lot Rehabman, but my clover is same as the el capitan and it has all the ACPI patch. and I have used the app to install on other drive. the EFI partition has everything. On the other hand I have tried using the USB installation using exact same steps as you mentioned but when I update the SMBIOS I am getting stuck at the white screen and revolving circle. If I use the one in your master list I am not even getting past the initial boot screen s it says the hardware is not supported.

VoiletDragon, It will be helpful to try with your config.plist last time.

Thanks a lot for much appreciated support

Thanks

Trying my Config won't make any differences my config is from the Clover Hotpatch even tho I've made some tweaks to the config as I'm dual booting with older versions of OS X. I installed 10.12 on the i3 Probook my partner has but the Config on that is stock with no edits. You need to follow the 10.11 Clover Hotpatch guide and get 10.11 up and running before attempting 10.12 Follow http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/g...book-using-clover-uefi-hotpatch-10-11.189416/

You cannot use fully patched ACPI without the required kexts also installed. Be clear about what you're trying to do.

Thanks Guys, I was missing some files in the ACIP directory. Now I installed and everything is working fine. I do get some flicker on screen but for now I have it installed and working. as mentioned in the post non of the brightness or volume keys are working

Thansk again

If your flicker is other than the well known 'gray gradient flicker', you may have made a mistake.

Sounds like you didn't follow the guide.

If you did, read post #1, "Problem Reporting".

Brightness keys do not work on 10.12 (other keys also, such as volume).

Rehbman! Any chance of work upon final release ???
