NOTE OF WARNING. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH RATIO+BLCK tuning!

So I have been tinkering with my Asus X99 Pro motherboard BIOS setting for the overclock. I have the following settings:

I am using an i7 5930K, 6 core/12 thread processor + GTX980

BIOS settings:
BLCK frequency + ratio tuning enabled
core multiplier - set at 47
BLCK frequency is 125 MHZ
Ram is 2133 MHZ, now running a slightly higher frequency.
manual core voltage - 1.328 Volts

Thank goodness I have a block water cooler attached. Idle temps are in the high 30's low 40's but on full power it's hitting 78.5C - 80C. The power draw is 945 watts

Core processing values have increased from 3500 per core to 4660 per core - so the Geekbench score is 27960 from a mere 21000.... not sure if I'm going to keep the computer on this OC or turn it down.

humm..... anyone else have a similar OC to discuss with the i7 5930K processor?:crazy:

Certainly something wrong with this picture... 47x125=5875, don't think so...

Here's a simple 4.6 OC... [email protected] Multiplier@46

The performance in CineBench should give a clearer picture.....
OK, then post your CineBench screenies. You surely are not running 47x125=5875 so let's give up that nonsense... Here's another screenie of an easy 4.6 OC (46x100 - vcore 1.2850) with a 970.

Of course your 980 should run OpenGL 20-30 points higher. Maybe 100 points higher @5.875. lol

EDIT: Don't ya hate it when you post something dumb like: "INSANE SPEEDS -- NOTE OF WARNING. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH RATIO+BLCK tuning!" and then have to back it up and can't? No worries, we've all been there. Enjoy your hack...
