Security Update 2013-001 for Snow Leopard 10.6.8

14 March 2013 Apple released Security Update 2013 for a bunch of different versions of OSX, including Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

    Combo Update Download: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1642

    What's in it? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5672

I applied it via Software Update without any issues. :-) YAY!

Obviously like anything with a Hackintosh you apply updates at your own risk.

Security Update 2013-001 for Snow Leopard 10.6.8

Same results here. I've now applied it to Macs and CustoMacs with 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8.
Success without glitches in all six+ cases.
The fact that at completion it requires a reboot, *but does not force it immediately,* suggests this cluster of patches is less intrusive than most Security Updates.

Still, with CustoMacs, be leery and do as recommended: create a clone; boot from the clone; test the patches on the clone.
