The original installation media for Mac OS X Snow Leopard was a 10.6 DVD. The DVD was only updated once to version 10.6.3. In order to provide more frequent updates to users, Apple is now slipstreaming the latest version of OS X directly into the download. Upon fresh installation, no updating is necessary!

If you downloaded Mavericks from the App Store prior to December 16, 2013, you most likely have 10.9. To re-download Mavericks and update your Installation App to 10.9.1, simply log into the Mac App Store and click Download. When the download finishes, the app will automatically open. The updated 10.9.1 Install OS X Mavericks App can be found in the Applications folder. You can then re-create your UniBeast installation USB.

Mine just disappeared from the 'Purchases' section from AppStore… (?)
Anyway I can download it if I go to the OS X Mavericks page… Anyone noticed the same issue?

Try holding the option key when clicking the purchases tab, this used to unhide software you had already downloaded.

Apple must have changed the hiding of downloaded software recently...as all my old OSX's are showing without having to hold the option key.

Mmmm... I tried Mavericks but seems there's too many little bugs... waiting for 10.9.2

I always download the App for each version. You never know when it comes to success that you wished you had the previous release. Although through experience each becomes more stable. Mountain Lion proved this.

Absolutely agree with you.
Mountain Lion works perfectly for me... at this moment better than Mavericks... anyway I like to try every OS release.
We are all beta tester

I found an interested thing at right now when I try to download the update app 10.9.1 from 10.9 via the link given by tonymacx86(thread is OS X 10.9.1 Update,http://www.tonymacx86.com/400-os-x-10-9-1-update/comments7.html#comments) I click the link Download the OS X 10.9.1 Update(http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1707),the page show me the update is for the late 2013 mac pro now.

the update date is show Post Date: Dec 19, 2013 File Size: 203.1 MB, It is different from the file posted on Dec 16,2013,file size is 243.4 MB(chinese language vision page). So far, only the english update page show the new change, but other language pages are still show the old app download link.

I don't know how much different between the two update app,but I will test each one, maybe I will try to rebuild the OS twice.if I found some can be report,I will post here.

at right now,I will try to install the new app, test it,maybe try another in 2 or 3 days.

for me, the update is very minor. I already have the 10.9.0 unibeast. I will just add the 10.9.1 update into the usb. Can update after done installation of 10.9.0. I don't see the point of having to spend time re-doing the unibeast with all the downloading of complete 10.9.1 again.

hi guys ,new news (pretty ryming) AMD releases new cards for mac pro
does this make them compaitable with hackintoshes ???

Will UniBeast be updated to be able to copy OSX Mavericks 10.9.1 to usb disk?

Best Regards
